We have seen tremendous progress and reason for optimism over the past year, including the passage of the landmark Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). However, here in New York, which has proudly claimed its 2019 climate law to be the most advanced in the country, a major carbon accounting flaw needs to be fixed. Here’s the issue:

Brown, the Director of the Bioeconomy Development Institute and Associate Professor of Energy Resource Economics at SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, adds valuable expertise to our team. Both Suzanne and Tristan assumed their roles on the board in 2021.
