Kyle Jeremiah joined Energy Vision as Media & Communications Associate in September 2014. With a keen interest in the environment, social justice, and practical solutions to combat climate change, Kyle has been overseeing and expanding EV’s online presence through traditional and social media channels. Kyle has greatly expanded EV’s social media reach, and his writing has been featured in publications such as Gulf Elite magazine, Latin Petroleum magazine and the United Nations Chronicle. In 2016, Kyle is also coordinating EV’s university program aimed at educating and involving college students on the topic of organics diversion and beneficial use. A pilot project is currently being developed at Hunter College in NYC.
Prior to joining Energy Vision, Kyle traveled to Melbourne, Australia in 2010 to document the events of a United Nations conference where NGOs and other stakeholders were consulted about the progress of the UN’s Millennium Development Goals. Kyle then worked with the United Nations Academic Impact program in coordinating efforts to raise awareness for environmental sustainability. He was also a social media journalist at the Mashable and United Nations Foundation Social Good Summit in 2012 and 2013. Kyle is a graduate of Hunter College in New York City. He grew up in Trinidad and Tobago.
